Alagna Monterosa

New Year 2010/11

Having just returned from Alagna where I joined the Zuba Ski clients on the High Altitude New Year Party, I am pleased to be able to report that a good time was had by all.

A mix of cultures and characters got together from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Sweden, Scotland and Denmark, not to mention the UK!  The days were spent with various different groups going out on day trips with the Zuba Ski UIAGM Mountain guides into unmarked and adventurous territory.  I think most people will confirm that they stepped out of their comfort zone!!

The evenings were spent in the Rifugio Guglielmina and New Year's eve was like no other with singing and dancing until the early hours of 2011.

The team in the Guglielmina did everyone very proud with Alberto, Francesco leading an amazing group of people who seem to work all hours that God gives.
